This is a (relatively) short sample of my musical works from 2012 - 2010.

Non-Homestuck

Father Brain - June 2012 - An homage to the final boss song of Super Metroid using samples from the game itself.
Saccharine Suite - February 2012 - A chiptune commission created within NES specifications about a mischevious koi fish.
Megalo Strikes Back - January 2012 - Created as an homage to the final battle of the Super Nintendo game EarthBound utilizing instruments from the game itself. A rockin' midi boss battle theme for an alien overlord.

Homestuck

Moonsetter - June 2012 - A short, simple piano melody that wouldn't leave my head. Viola performance by Samm Neiland and cello performance by Clark Powell.
Davesprite - October 2011 - A wannabe chiptune-funk composition using the sounds of the classic YAMAHA FM chip utilized by the Sega Genesis/Megadrive.
Judgment Day - October 2011 - A Yoko Shimomura-inspired charge towards the end of the world. Features the theme from Erik "Jit" Scheele's "Ruins" from 1:10 to 1:37. Violin performance by Kelly Sadwin.
Love You - October 2011 - A cute, heartfelt song about an undersea princess.
Frostbite - October 2011 A D&B-ish song about a dangerous fortress made of ice. Short flute cameo by Mark Nabors.
Earthsea Borealis - April 2011 - A heroic battle with a collosal sea monster guarding a hoard of treasure. All the material is original except for the flute melody featured at 1:09 (from George Buzinkai's Endless Climb), and where it repeats later.
Karkat's Theme - February 2011 - Karkat is the self-appointed leader of the Trolls in Homestuck. His huge ego - combined with his paradoxically low self-esteem and incredibly short temper - make basically everything he's involved in devolve into a circus act.
Eridan's Theme - February 2011 - Eridan is a genocidal alien pirate with one of the most powerful laser guns in existence. However, he also suffers from teenage angst issues and is pathetically lonely. Oops. Instrumenation is modelled after the Sega Genesis. The slower middle section is an arrangement of Alexander Rosetti's "Catchyegrabber," which I had the pleasure of singing in.
A Tender Moment - December 2010 - A ballad of distilled anime sadness.
